SantoI have been trying to get an answer to this for a while now, and have not been successful.
What is the difference between the new FPU and the old one? I realize he has added captions for the hearing impaired (YES!, because I fall into this forum), but are there new topics? Is it worth going through the class again? I am assuming that because I did graduate last year, I could attend a new class for free.

WallyFirst of all, the new videos were shot with Digital cameras, instead of just recorded to DVD from VHS.
This makes the picture MUCH much better.
The course begins with the description of the baby steps and the vides were shot with the idea that all videos will be watched in order.
We are on our 4th week of the new series and also noticed that the order has changed some since the 2006 version.
They made the first 6 weeks all about beating debt and then the last 7 about growing wealth.
The whole package seems to be better including the workbooks, videos and web site.
If you can for free why not go? sure the info is mostly the same, but he has a new energy, different stories and more excitement.

RicardoHi Everyone, I am reposting my original questions, sans the child care issue. I did NOT mean for this to become a debate on childcare or religion. Those are not the main issues I had in mind when I posted, but it may have looked that way in my original post. My main issue is making the class itself better for participants. Please, try to answer only about the questions I’ve put out here.
It seems I will probably be leading FPU at our church in the new year. I would like to hear from you. If you have taken and/or taught FPU, what suggestions do you have to make it interesting, informative and fun. (I know DR will take care of that on his part on the video.) Also if you have links that relate to the 13 lessons that I could send to class members, as each lesson comes up, I’d appreciate you sending them to me.
Any tips, links, suggestions, extra reading, etc.
would be greatly appreciated. Oh, btw, almost every new class gets the link to this list so they can come here and learn from the best DR forum around! Blessings, Cindy [MOD EDIT: URL removed]October 23, 2013 at 11:49 am
