JessieHer name is Elle, after the wooly mammoth in the Ice Age movies because my debt is really old.
LOL! Jan who considered Disney elephants but then settled on Elle because I love how Queen Latifah portrayed her in OK Handmade greeting cards [MOD EDIT: URL removed]October 17, 2013 at 4:01 am
AlfredI thought it was *Ellie*? I am a serious Ice Age(And Queen Latifah) fan…

DinoImbd lists it as Elle I thought it was Ellie too, but if you look at the spelling it could be pronounced Ellie L Lee. Jan who thinks the queen should have been the one playing Lula in the new Stephanie Plumb movie in OK Handmade greeting cards [MOD EDIT: URL removed]

DarrylI didn’t actually go to IMBD I went to a site that referred to IMBD and that’s where I got the spelling. Doesn’t matter how you spell it her name is L E LOL! Jan who took a short cut with mypoints websearch in order to get her bonus points for her next $50 Wal-Mart gift card instead of going directly to IMBD in OK Handmade greeting cards [MOD EDIT: URL removed]

SantoWHATTTTTTT!?! You never heard of Stephanie Plum? Man is your education lacking.
LOL! Stephanie is the heroine of a series of books by Janet Evanovich that are hilarious.
The premise behind the books is Stephanie is a bit of an inept bounty hunter. Her “partner” in hunting is Lula (a former ‘ho) and the messes they get into are hilarious. Of course there is a romantic angle—uhh two of them Joe Moreli and the mysterious Ranger, throw in her dysfunctional family and a cast of weird characters and the books are a fast, fun and sometimes slightly sexy read. There are currently 18 of them.
The first one is called “One for the Money” and it has been made into a movie!!! I can’t wait until it’s on satellite tv so I can see it. There is a good trailer for the movie on IMBD—I actually went to the site this time.
You can see a list of the books with a synopsis at: [MOD EDIT: URL removed]October 17, 2013 at 4:16 am
DwayneI just saw those at the bookstore last night! I would have just walked by them except I remembered the name from the discussions here.
They look good, can’t wait to read one! Shay Sent from my Android phone using TouchDown ( [MOD EDIT: URL removed]October 17, 2013 at 4:19 am
SungI love them too but I’m starting to get a little tired of her flip flopping between Ranger and Morelli.
Maybe Janet could give Grandma Mazur a love interest as another story line and Stephanie could at least settle on a man.
I don’t know, it’s becoming a bit ridiculous to me a this point (yet, I still keep reading the series).

DonnieYeah, she does start to repeat herself.
But they’re like popcorn, can’t stop reading them.
And back to thrift – I used to hesitate to sign up for super-popular books at the library because the waiting lists looked so very long, but my mom pointed out that if you just keep signing up for them, eventually you get a steady stream of books arriving, just a bit late.
Thanks Mom! Now when I see a book I want to read I go straight to the online catalog.
With popular mysteries there are usually a LOT of copies in the system so it goes fast.October 17, 2013 at 4:27 am
RaySaw one for the money this weekend, didn’t care for the casting for Ranger, not “BAAAABE” enough.
LOL! Debbie Reynolds didn’t cut it as Grandma Mazur for us either. Would have been better as a tv series rather than a movie. Jan who has this set image of everyone in the books from listening to them on audio book and was not quite sure about some of the casting in OK Handmade greeting cards [MOD EDIT: URL removed] -
